Travel | Germany
I never really thought I would be spending much time in Germany, but having a German partner, and visiting his family has changed things. If I am in the region, or have the time, I do now spend time in Germany.
- 2003 December - Frankfurt to Bremen, along the Rhine
My first ever cold winter (compared to Melbourne that is), and my first experience travelling in a country where I could absolutely nothing in the language! Unfortunately, many of the sights were close (it was the low season), but it was still very picturesque, and it was great to meet the family!

During a quick visit with family due to one member reaching a significant birthday, I did not have much time for sightseeing. Instead I caught up with family and friends within Bremen, and then continued back to Australia by myself, via Frankfurt and Helsinki.
